This Week in a Space Shooter Near You

So, this week the plan is to iron out some bugs in the new space shooter game. Some bugs are worse than others, but they should be fixed before continuing with level development.

With the options menu not visible, you can still click on the buttons. This was also a problem in the levels with the menu and replay buttons until I changed it to another setup to work with pausing the game. This should be an easy fix.

In earlier versions of the game, when large meteors were destroyed, they would break into smaller pieces. Now, they don't. This needs fixed as well.

The original idea was for the meteors to be rotating while they're moving. Need to work around and figure out what's wrong so this can work right.

There are a few other things that need to be finished soon, but they aren't urgent for further level development. Things like adding the credits screen, a help screen, adding a few sounds... stuff like that.

This Friday, a freshly compiled version of the game will be uploaded with a changelog. In the meantime, check out what's finished and working so far with the beta demo. And don't forget to leave some feedback!
